This single origin Ethiopia Hambela Dabaye coffee comes to us from the station owner, Kedir Hassan. “Dabaye” is the name of the kebele where this Hambela station is located. Hambela sits at 1816 meters above sea level, and coffee is grown as high as 2100 meters. This coffee makes a very nice pour over and a complex espresso, fruit is obvious but not overpowering, strawberry jam, nectarine, and berry-like brightness connect to floral aromatics that touch on jasmine, and ripe fruits.
